These Little Black Ants were collected in South Dakota by one of our registered collectors. They are most common east of the Rockies.

The Mining Bee is a smaller bee found in early spring to summer throughout the united states. The Mining Bee frequents flowers in the spring and can be readily collected with a sweep-net.
